Vehicle documents
Every vehicle carries its registration certificate - the bluebook - which identifies the vehicle, its owner and its class. It must be renewed on time; renewing late attracts a fine.
A public or commercial vehicle also needs a ROUTE PERMIT, which authorises it to run on a particular route. A route permit is valid for four months, and once it expires you have fifteen days to renew it.
A temporary route permit covers a journey outside the regular permit - a road the vehicle is not normally authorised for - and is issued for a maximum of seven days.
A pollution certificate is required as well, and driving without the pollution sticker attracts a fine on the driver.
